The Readability of Folk Stories Using Kloz Text Based on Online Journal Scientific Articles

This research aims to describe: 1) the readability level of folklore fragment-1 using online journal scientific article-based cloz text; 2) the readability level of folklore fragment-2 using online journal scientific article-based cloz text; 3) the readability level of folklore fragment-3 using online journal scientific article-based cloz text; 4) the level of readability of fragment-4 folklore using online journal scientific article-based cloz text. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 2 Lawa, West Muna Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. Research activities took place at the beginning of the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The population of this study were 4th grade students at SD Negeri 2 Lawa who took part in a text readability trial from folklore based on online scientific journal articles. There are 11 students divided into 6 students and 5 students. The sample was set at 11 students, namely using the total sample because the population was relatively small. Observation guidelines, tests, checklists, and questionnaires are the 4 types of research instruments. Readability data was collected through 4 cloz text units. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, namely the percent procedure. Research results: 1) the readability level of folklore fragment-1 using online journal scientific article-based cloz text is in the good category; 2) the readability level of folklore fragment-2 using online journal scientific article-based CLOS text is in the good category; 3) the readability level of folklore fragment-3 using online journal scientific article-based cloz text is in the good category; 4) the readability level of folklore fragment-4 using online journal scientific article-based Kloz text is in the good category.
