<p>Learning to write pantun is important in junior high schools to appreciate the global recognition that pantun is one of the many intangible cultural heritages. Learning non-narrative texts is based on factual narrative texts, namely procedural texts. This study aims to describe: 1) the procedure for learning to write pantun based on procedural texts using a manual module; 2) the learning outcomes of writing pantun based on procedural texts using a manual module. The population of this study was 14 students of grade VIII of SMP Negeri 5 Watubangga who participated in the learning process of writing pantun based on procedural texts using a manual module. This study used a total sample. The research instrument was an observation guideline useful for collecting data on learning procedures. Another instrument was a test for writing pantun based on procedural texts. Data from the learning process of writing pantun based on procedural texts using a manual module were analyzed qualitatively to determine the suitability between the learning plan and the learning procedures. Learning outcome data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, namely mean, percentage, and mode. The results of the study: 1) the learning procedure for writing pantun based on procedural texts using a manual module was in accordance with the learning plan, which included 3 initial activities, 19 core activities, and 2 final activities; 2) The learning outcomes for writing procedural text-based pantun using the manual module reached a mean of 81.11 with a standard deviation of 5.12. </p>Hartiwiyanti IsmailKadirun

<p>The rapid development of artificial intelligence technology has driven the use of automatic translation systems in the academic field, particularly ChatGPT and Google Translate. However, the urgency to critically evaluate the quality of both translations is important given the central role of translation in maintaining scientific integrity and textual accuracy. This study aims to analyze and compare the quality of English–Indonesian translations from both platforms based on the Ustaszewski Evaluation Rubric, which includes four main indicators: accuracy, naturalness, terminology equivalence, and sentence structure. This study employs a quantitative descriptive approach with an evaluative-comparative method. Three academic texts were translated using each platform and evaluated independently by three linguistic experts. The results indicate that ChatGPT significantly outperforms Google Translate across nearly all indicators, with an overall average score of 3.55 compared to Google Translate’s 2.58. Correlations between indicators reveal a strong positive relationship between naturalness and sentence structure (r = 0.883, p < 0.001), as well as between accuracy and naturalness (r = 0.657, p = 0.002). Meanwhile, Google Translate exhibits a tendency toward literal translations and lacks responsiveness to academic rhetorical structures. These findings indicate that ChatGPT is superior in producing contextual, natural, and cohesive academic translations, although terminological aspects still require manual validation. <p>This study aims to describe: 1) the procedure for developing a formative test device for the skill of finding intrinsic elements of prophetic short story texts for grade XI high school students; 2) the profile of the formative test device for the skill of finding intrinsic elements of prophetic short story texts for grade XI high school students resulting from the development. The study was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Siakhulu and SMA Negeri 5 Jambi City in the odd semester of 2025/2026. This study used a modification of the ADDIE procedure to develop a formative test device for the skill of finding intrinsic elements of prophetic short story texts. Questionnaires were used to collect validation data for the test device development procedure, especially the procedure for preparing test specifications, validating the suitability between test items and test specifications, and validating the objectivity of the test key. Observation guidelines were used to collect test device trial data for both teachers and students. Each learning requires a strategy that is appropriate to both the learning objectives and the character of the students. The textbook entitled Literary Theory written by Masnuatul Hawa published by Deepublish, 2017 is interesting to study scientifically. The purpose of this study is to describe: 1) the learning procedure for writing a review of the Teori Sastra textbook using a dual strategies through a Google Form-based teaching module with a file upload option; 2) the learning outcomes of writing a review of the Teori Sastra textbook using a dual strategies through a Google Form-based teaching module with a file upload option. The study took place in the odd semester of 2025/2026 at Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, University of Riau. This study used a quantitative descriptive method. <p>This study aims to explore: 1) the learning procedure for inductive paragraph writing skills based on integrated deductive paragraphs using process skill aproach in specialized teaching materials; 2) the learning outcomes of inductive paragraph writing skills based on integrated deductive paragraphs using process skill aproach in specialized teaching materials. This study was conducted at SD Negeri 8 Mataram in the odd semester of 2026. The population of this study was 5th-grade students who participated in inductive paragraph writing skills learning based on integrated deductive paragraphs using specialized teaching materials. They numbered 16 out of 18 students. This study used a total sample, meaning all members of the population were included as sample members. The main instruments of this study were specialized teaching materials containing knowledge of deductive and inductive paragraphs, examples of how to change deductive paragraphs into inductive paragraphs, and practice pages for changing deductive paragraphs into inductive paragraphs. The second instrument was a skill test for changing inductive paragraph writing based on integrated deductive paragraphs. Other instruments were lesson plans, observation guidelines, and an inductive paragraph writing test through integrated deductive paragraphs. Data on learning procedures were analyzed using a thematic approach by examining the alignment between lesson planning procedures and classroom implementation procedures. Learning outcome data were analyzed using descriptive statistical procedures. The results of the study were: 1) the learning procedure for inductive paragraph writing skills based on deductive paragraphs using process skill aproach in special teaching materials contained 3 initial activities, 18 core activities, and 2 final activities, in accordance with the learning plan; 2) the learning outcomes for inductive paragraph writing skills based on deductive paragraphs on integrated topics using process skill aproach in special teaching materials reached a mean of 80.33 percent, above the minimum competency standard of 75.00.</p>Baiq Nuriati HasanahDidik Suhendar
